All throughout the Gospels, people’s lives were changed in a single moment with Jesus. Every encounter reveals the same truth. No one who truly met Jesus ever stayed the same. This year at Epworth, we’re slowing down to look at moments of real people who came face to face with the living God, and we’ll ask the question: What happens when we encounter Him too?

ENCOUNTER isn’t just a theme. It’s an invitation.
An invitation to step away from distractions, open your heart, and experience the love and power of Jesus in a personal, undeniable way.

The Epworth Retreat is a weekend event designed for middle and high school students from February 14-16, 2026. You don't want to miss this weekend jam packed with life changing worship and teachings, relationship building in Life Groups, dancing, playing football, games, and so much more!

• WHEN: Saturday, Feb 14th @ 10:00am (check in) - Monday, Feb 16th @ 2:00pm. Registration ends at 11:59 PM on Jan 30th. 
• WHERE: Epworth By The Sea, Saint Simon's Island, GA
• COST: $275

• WHO: Any and all 6th-12th graders
• DETAILS:
  • School buses will be used for transportation to and from Epworth.
  • Students will be in cabins, split by grade and gender, with background checked adults.
  • Food is provided for the whole weekend.
  • Payments are non-refundable.
